A Day Will Come To Say Goodbye To Eve-Teaser

It applies to women or girls being harassed by a man at any point of time. Well, there are many processes while lodging a complaint to the police, but the situation is not taken into consideration. Sometimes a Simple decent girl never comes out of home because there are passers by who teased her all the time. Due to which her family never allows her to go hangout with her friends. There are many ways a guy can express his emotional feelings and can impress a girl but it happens in some ways like giving gifts, surprises, write poems, etc. Teasing in front of everyone may invade her modesty. Usually, a eve-teaser see's a girl with revealing clothes and begins to pass remarks. But, It’s not about the small clothes, it’s about having a small mind. A teaser has to see that he himself has a sister, mother or friends.

There has been consistently many cases filed in the police station about eve-teasing. But expectation always leads to disappointment. The Government never takes initiative steps to make amends to the laws for the constitution of India. Thus, there are a gigantic number of cases that keep coming from every states for eve-teasing. There are many people who died because of eve-teasing that led to rape. There are very slow proceedings and cases in which the penalties are yet to be declare. Hence, the trial proceedings are expected to be taken on fast-track. We had seen many NGO’s or other organization that came out with campaigns to avoid eve-teasing to make the environment more protective and secure. If any chances in future, it is possible where we will find no eve-teasers across the city. 

 

There are many colleges where eve-teasing are strictly prohibited, as per the records. And places where it happens is mainly due to the poor security of the college. Sexually harassment, molestation, rape, wrong remarks, etc. are the crimes we see in daily newspapers or television channels. A girl or woman's life is spoiled due to the massive crime that happened to her. To stopped with this crime, it is necessary to support the person. If there is no support then it would be a shame to the person for not taking mandatory steps when it is was required. Just wonder for sometime that the crime is happening with your family member and fighting for the person is essential duty. If you are afraid of taking steps, then you would be call a “Loser” or “Bad words from society”.

It has been found that compartments are divided into ladies and general coach. Largely, in Mumbai there are more than 30 percent eve-teasing happens in local trains or platform. It may be because of the crowded trains and that’s the only reason commuters misbehave when they get a chance. There are some precautions where some woman had already taken to avoid eve-teasing i.e Self-Defense. But it's not possible for everyone because they have never been to such trainings ever. Thus to avoid such difficulties, keep your presence of mind and opt for a self-defense training session. We are Indians. Hence, we should not forget the pledge we have taken during school days. Respect a woman so that the eve-teasing tag must removed for the entire life-time.
