Stop blaming news channels


Few days ago, I was travelling via train. A group of people were discussing one particular issue that happened in India. They started saying bad things about the media. I really got frustrated at that point of time. My article is based on people who exploit the media. Even if they don’t like the media, why do people watch news channels? I want to make them understand the importance of news channels.

There are more than fifty to seventy-five news channels in India. Every news channel is providing updates to the audience about the issues and events happening in India and the world. Every hour ‘Breaking News’ pop-ups appear. Sometimes breaking news is considered as ‘soft-news’. Does anyone know why media is retrieving information for the audience? 



People are used to the wrong words ‘yellow journalism’ or ‘chobis ghante ek hi cheez dikhate hai’. Media today is a profit-drill, where they face competition among the newspapers and more so among television channels. Why is there competition amongst each other? Because media is making an effort to reveal an issue so that the public can be aware next time so that it doesn’t happen in future. Today, media is covering all the important concrete issues like political, crime, entertainment, business, health news etc. According to these aspects, an audience might feel happy to see a glimpse of that particular news. At the end of the day, they are the only people who damage the reputation of the media.  

There are many news channels that hold panel discussions. On any particular topic an argument starts with a healthy discussion, at the end, the media is trying to get a conclusion. Still, people believe that media is trying to compete to defeat the other news channels. 

According to the law, Article 19(1) (a) of the constitution, every citizen of India has the freedom of speech and expression as well as the press. Therefore, all journalists know their duties and responsibilities. Even if people still think that journalist’s job is revealing, exposing or disclosing the unnecessary things, they are absolutely wrong because media got the term ‘censored’ and every news channel follows the same. Media understands the necessity of the public. Media is giving detailed information to the public to understand it, instead of saying unwanted things about the media.

Keep Calm & Learn English

I can talk English, I can walk English, I can laugh English, I can run English, because English is such a funny language. It's a very filmy dialogue, but have you realised that this is the actual part of our life especially for kids.  Our Next-Gen has gone digitalise. One projector, play YouTube videos & bunch of students in the same Paathshala. Action speaks louder than words. Get the same reality to their kids involving some activity which they want to play around with their friends. Trust it works all time when they spend quality time with friends & double dhamaka activity. Movies with subtitles can be the best option for kids. Goa-An Amazing Destination

Planning is essentially not needed when you go for a trip with your friends. It’s a spontaneous decision, wrap your bag, buy tickets and get set go. A delighted bachelor trip, a friend who is about to get married has taken the initiative to enjoy the trip with in an amazing destination called Goa. One Whatsapp group and we are ready. You are there to cover miles and what can be the better than to ride around the roads of Goa. From Mumbai to Goa, we booked an AC bus and it was almost a 13 to 14 hours journey.
